New Leaf Wedding Sneak Peak !

Yesterday we had the most amazing day, super sunny, semi-warm breeze, ok it was pretty cold... but the guest braved the weather to see our couple Shung and David tie the knot in the beautiful Linden Terrace of Fort Tryon Park. Their reception immediately followed at the New Leaf Cafe with cocktails in the main dining room and dinner and dancing in the tented area outside. By far one of the happiest groomsmen I have seen to date. They were so genuinely happy for their friend they spent the night singing sings, slinging jokes and by the end of the night propping each other up :). All in all it was a great day ! Below are some pics I was able to grab while we were running around, can't wait to see what Jeff of Jeffrey Lau Photo sends me.

Halloween Weddings?

So I was sitting here planning this years family Halloween costume ( yes, I like for all of us to be a team theme, corny but I love it!) and I started to think about couples who take Halloween and make it a Wedding. Now normally I cringe at the thought but after doing a little research I found some pretty cool looks. Not what I would pick but hey if its what your into you might as well have fun with it.

I think this is an Amy Atlas Table, but I can't find the credit anywhere ! if anyone knows please leave me a message!

Logistically a bit traumatizing at first glance ( there are no cars allowed on Fire Island !), but in the end all bode well and we had an awesome time with the couple and the guests. A lot of walking for sure... Congratulations Ilana and Jonathan ! Can't wait for a return trip to Fire Island next season.

These pencils are really cute gifts for guests as well as fun accents for shower games.

Baby Birthday Theme, Circus Party !

Our little boy recently turned 1! And although I promised I would keep the party small it didn't get completely out of hand but it also wasn't as small as I had originally envisioned.

Here is the invitation we used, which I loved ! Totally set the tone for a Circus themed Birthday.
