The 5th Annual Ayuda for the Arts Gala is coming up this November 9th, and I am super proud to be involved with such a great organization. Ayuda which stands for Alliance for Young Urban Design and the Arts is, to quote their mission statement "an alliance dedicated to helping students with a financial need, pursue their education in art related fields. We offer undergraduate scholarships and mentor ship to advance their studies in their chosen field of the arts."
I love that the scholarships are awarded to any art form, whether it be culinary arts, graphic art, fashion, music etc.. This years event " A Fashionable Taste of New York" will feature a delicious tastings from some of the finest restaurants in New York and beyond.
